It's Cinco de Mayo AND Taco Tuesday and we're not going to let a virus stand in the way of celebrating.

Tonight, it's tacos (drink) for dinner and margaritas to wash them down. So today, I bring you our favorite Cinco de Mayo recipes...and a little jingle from Eleanor.
Thank you for that (drink) Eleanor. And now moving on to tacos. These fish tacos are one of our favorites. The taco seasoning gives them extra flavor and they are on the menu at the Meyer house tonight. (Drink) Well, for James and me. The kids won't touch fish with a ten foot pole. Or cabbage. Or cilantro. Or mayonnaise.

Next up...Mexican Street Tacos with carne asada. These are a staple (drink) on our recipe line-up. And they go great with Mexican Street Corn!

While we are not vegetarians, we do enjoy vegetarian recipes from time to time. These Butternut Squash and Black Bean Tacos are so good you won't even miss the meat.

I'm not usually a big fan of pineapple in my dinner, but the pineapple salsa on these caramelized pork tacos has changed my mind.

And last, but not least, there's something we call Old School Tacos. It's a dinner that has been on our dinner rotation for the last (drink) twenty years. There aren't many dishes that have stood the test of time like this one. All you need is a taco kit (we buy the soft and hard combo pack), ground turkey, avocado, mushrooms, tomatoes, and salsa. Add the taco seasoning in the taco kit to the ground turkey and cook in an iron skillet, mash the avocado up and add your favorite guac spices, slice the mushrooms and tomatoes, plop everything in bowls, and (drink) there you have it - Old School Taco smorgasbord.
Finally, what kind of Cinco de Mayo would it be without a margarita or two? And let's face it, any excuse for a cocktail is more than welcome these days. This is our go-to Margarita Recipe. Don't forget the salt! (Drink)

And, now, a little message from me.
